Town of Hanover Precautionary Boil Water Advisory Impact on Hanover & District Hospital Operations

***Update*** The precautionary boil water advisory is now lifted.
The Town of Hanover is currently under a Precautionary Boil Water Advisory, as a result Hanover and District Hospital (HDH) has implemented precautionary measures to ensure the safety of patients, staff, and visitors.
While the hospital remains operational, out of an abundance of caution, all non-emergency surgical procedures have been temporarily paused. This decision prioritizes the health and safety of all individuals who depend on HDH services.
Our team has ensured that safe drinking water is available for patients and staff, and we have enacted enhanced water safety protocols throughout the hospital. HDH will continue to monitor the situation closely and work collaboratively with the Town of Hanover to maintain the highest standards of care.
